Resolve

As the dark clouds descend, mountain still stands with resolve
Rain, shine or snow, does little to make it dissolve

As the icy, untamed winds mercilessly blow past,
humbled by the slopes, they give in at last

But wonder if its resolve is such a quality though,
dissolve the mountain must, no matter how slow

Is its steadfastness its stagnation in disguise?
for while mountain stays aground, wind touches skies

Better perhaps to be the like the shameless wind,
free and content with speck of mountain it skinned

Accused, admonished and judged wind might be for its wanderer's lust
But to have never lived freely, would'nt it be the absolute worst!
